Pain Management
Many patients who come to our office have concerns or outdated expectations about pain during and following endodontic treatment. Our doctors use the most modern anesthetics and techniques in order to make you as comfortable as possible during the procedure. We offer patients who have a history of anxiety premedication prior to the appointment and the use of Nitrous Oxide during the procedure.
Following root canal treatment a tooth may feel sensitive for 24 to 72 hours, especially if there was pain or infection prior to treatment. Our doctors will provide you with prescription medications or instructions for using over the counter medications to alleviate any discomfort you may experience.
